My stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Alexandria West was a mix of ups and downs. The hotel's convenient location near the Old Town Alexandria provided easy access to dining and entertainment options, which was a definite plus. The room amenities like the coffee maker, mini refrigerator, and microwave made our stay comfortable and convenient.The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. The free shuttle service to the Van Dorn Metro Station was a great convenience for exploring the area without the hassle of driving. The complimentary breakfast offered a good variety of hot and cold options to start the day right.However, there were some drawbacks to our stay. The safety concerns raised in other parts of the property made me feel uneasy, despite the measures in place. The lack of nearby restaurants meant relying on take-out menus, which, while convenient, limited our dining choices.Comfort Inn & Suites Alexandria West offers a mix of convenience and comfort, with a few areas that could be improved.
